Fight Fatigue Using A Simple Step By Step Plan
Fight fatigue and you can win, no matter how debilitating the condition may seem.
Even if you have the most extreme type of chronic fatigue syndrome, you can still control the symptoms to a very high degree, and live as normal a life as possible. However bad your condition, there will be a way of relieving the symptoms to a large degree. Only if the fatigue is itself a symptom of something far more serious such as cancer, is there a doubt as to what can be done. Even cancer, though, can be treated, and it can be successfully beaten if you catch it soon enough.
Assuming that you don't have cancer or heart disease, but a pure fatigue condition, there is a simple program which is guaranteed to have a positive impact of some kind on your life. The first step of this program is to make sure you are getting enough rest and enough exercise, in the right proportions. The most important aspect of rest is sleep, and if you are deficient in this you will never feel at your best. It is not so much the number of hours as the quality of the sleep which matters.
Far too many people experience poor sleep because they don't go to bed with their brain in the right state. In many cases, they will have been watching an action TV show only minutes before their head hits the pillow. This means they will be in a state of stimulation and even excitement, allied to the quickening of the brainwaves effected by the electromagnetic radiation. This effect will be even more extreme if you have been using a computer or cell phone for an extended period before bedtime. Instead, go for a walk or at least step outside of your door for a few moments.
Fighting fatigue is not just a matter of making sure you get enough rest. Sometimes, you can even get too much. If you are the type of person who lives a completely sedentary life, you may need to achieve a balance by taking more exercise. If you can do this in natural surroundings, so much the better. Achieving this balance is the most important step in fighting fatigue. Once this has been done, which shouldn't take very long, you can begin working on your nutrition.
Overhauling a diet is often hard work and needs a lot of effort and discipline, but it is the most effective way to fight fatigue. How hard the climb will be depends to a large extent on how bad your diet is right now. If you use stimulants to help you through the day, these will need to be eliminated. It is often better to switch to healthier food before you attempt such a significant change, because the body will be better able to cope with it. It is a good idea to add vitamins and minerals to your diet to help fight fatigue.
